Let me tell you about the abacha I had in Enugu hands down one of the best I've ever tasted. It wasn’t just food; it was an experience. The aroma alone was enough to pull me in: that smoky scent of ugba, the sharpness of potash mingling with palm oil, and a hint of pepper teasing the nostrils. It was mixed right in front of me added garden egg leaves, onions, and kpomo that was so soft it felt like it melted in my mouth. Then came the real hit: fried fish with pepper sauce. Crispy outside, juicy inside. Pure magic.
